On Monday, December 8th, the 2026 Golden Globes Nominations were announced, with One Battle After Another and The White Lotus leading in film and television.

Amongst the film categories, One Battle After Another leads the nominations list with nine. This statistic is especially noteworthy because Paul Thomas Anderson’s critically acclaimed film has been nominated in every possible acting category it could have been nominated for, including two nominations for Best Supporting Actor for Benicio Del Toro and Sean Penn. Just behind One Battle After Another, Sentimental Value earned eight nominations, and Sinners achieved seven.

The TV categories were topped by The White Lotus, which landed six nominations. Even after three seasons, the show continues to be an awards juggernaut due to its always stacked cast and major respect within the industry. Just behind White Lotus is the British limited series, Adolescence, with five nominations, and Only Murders in the Building tied with Severance at four nominations.

Marlon Wayans and Skye P. Marshall unveiled the nominees for each category early Monday morning. Along with the classic film and television categories, the Globes will also present their first-ever Best Podcast award.

The 2026 Golden Globes will premiere live on Sunday, January 11th at 5:00 pm EST (8:00 pm PST) on CBS and Paramount+. A full list of nominations can be found below.
