At their core, three types of movies will always have them sat and ready to press play: sentimental and grief-themed films that give you a cathartic cry, erotic cinema that has you howling to the moon (bonus points if its sapphic), and horror films that will make you feel ill or have subtext relative to womanhood, race, and/or queerness.
