Mari’s love of film started when she first saw Steven Spielberg’s Jurassic Park as a young dinosaur fanatic. She went on to study Film at NC State University, which solidified her long-lasting passion for talking about movies and watching them. She connected with award-winning director Catherine Argyrople as a student, which prompted their creative collaboration in the feature film, Growing Pains (2024), which is available to stream on Tubi. Fabian is passionate about the preservation of physical media as a collector of DVDs, magazines, and newspapers. She is inspired by the work of Cheryl Dunye, Jordan Peele, and Karyn Kusama.
