The Running Man is directed by Edgar Wright and written by Wright and Michael Bacall. It is the second adaptation of the 1982 novel by Stephen King, following the 1987 film. The story is as follows: A man joins a game show in which contestants, allowed to go anywhere in the world, are pursued by “hunters” hired to kill them. The film stars Glen Powell, William H. Macy, Lee Pace, Michael Cera, Emilia Jones, Daniel Ezra, Jayme Lawson, Sean Hayes, Colman Domingo, and Josh Brolin.
