A 40-year development for one of the most prolific American film directors, Francis Ford Coppola’s $120 million self-financed Megalopolis has finally come to fruition. The story follows the city of New Rome in the main conflict between Cesar Catilina, a brilliant artist in favor of a utopian future, and the greedy mayor Franklyn Cicero. Between them is Julia Cicero, and her loyalty is divided between her father and her beloved. The film stars Adam Driver, Giancarlo Esposito, Nathalie Emmanuel, Aubrey Plaza, and Shia LaBeouf.
