Slamdance is an experimental filmmaker community established by those “who wanted to showcase the unfiltered voice of independent artists.” Dedicated to fostering independent voices, the non-profit hosts an annual film festival, workshops, mentorship programs, and exhibitions.

Slamdance 2026 will take place from February 19 to 25 in Los Angeles, CA. Danny Jarabek, Nandita Joshi, and Gabe Lillianthal cover this year’s festival.
