Sony Pictures Animation unveiled online today the official trailer for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, the highly anticipated sequel to the Academy Award-winning animated feature, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

The trailer re-introduces Miles Morales as he teams up with Gwen Stacy and a new team of Spider-People from across the multiverse to face a powerful villain. The film features the voices of Shameik Moore, Hailee Steinfeld, Jake Johnson, Oscar Isaac, Issa Rae, Kathryn Hahn, John Mulaney, and Jorma Taccone.

In association with Marvel, this next chapter in the Spider-Verse saga, which has been heralded for its innovation in animation styles, looks to continue expanding Morales’s world and the visual mash-up of animation techniques.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers, and Justin K. Thompson and written by Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and Dave Callaham. The film is produced by Avi Arad, Amy Pascal, Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and Christopher P. Yost.

The film is set to exclusively hit theaters on June 2, 2023 in premium formats and IMAX. Watch the trailer below.
