As a Valentine’s Day surprise, Todd Phillips has shared a first-look photo of Lady Gaga in character as Harley Quinn opposite Joaquin Phoenix reprising his role as the Clown Prince of Crime in Joker: Folie à deux. The pair are due to tango in the highly anticipated sequel to the billion-dollar grossing 2019 film Joker. Although not much is known about the details of the plot, we do know that joining Best Actor winning Phoenix is Gaga as the Joker’s potential love interest/partner in crime for the film currently set to be released on October 4, 2024. Phillips will once again direct the film with Scott Silver joining him as a writer.
